Soda has caffeine which is like drinking coffee when you are pregnant. A dietitian said that caffeine is not good for the baby so that means soda is not good either. Perhaps a pregnant woman should have a checklist of the good and bad food and drinks as well just to be on the safe side.

Is that the case? Maybe they can still consume it, but on a limited intake, since I never heard that kind of news yet.

I did not know that. But I don't think a small amount every now and then can hurt the baby. What about those expecting mothers who have a glass of wine, which their doctors say is okay?

Yes, this is true. As a general rule of thumb, sodas are not good for anyone's health. Full of caffeine and artificial sugars.

That is true..sodas and any other fizzy drinks contain too many synthetic preservatives and artificial sugars. Since they are obviously not good for anyone, they are in probability a danger to pregnant women. So actually no one should be drinking them at all.

That is very true. Mothers who consume artificially sweetened beverages may double their children's risk of being overweight at 1 year old
