So here's a fun little question to kick off this section of the forums.

If babies could ask questions here, what do you think they'd want to know?

Let's have fun with this and not take it too seriously. ;)

    I'll start:

    "Will I be cute forever?"
"Why does nobody pick up my mommy or daddy like they do me?"

And later... "Where did mommy hide the snacks?"

What is she doing it? Is she crazy? Will I grow another one?

When will I be big like my dad?

Why are all these giants around me and talking to me with funny voices?

@James McAllister, should we try and give an answer to the questions in the last post too? :)

Haha doesn't matter. Funny story, apparently I started talking really early and my parents stopped using their 'baby voices' shortly afterward. When one of their friends came over and tried using theirs, I guess I got mad and told them to stop. My mother said she'd never seen somebody so shocked and I wish I could go back and see it because I bet it was priceless.

Wonder why I was so against it back then?

If they're very young ''What are these people eating?''
''What are those white shiny things in their mouths?''
''How did she turn invisible?'' Peek-a-boo
''What's an airplane?'' When feeding them

I wonder why they say awe everytime I do something new?
Why can't they understand what I want when I cry? All I want is attention.
Why are they doing those faces? (funny faces)Maybe if I copy them they will stop and look normal again.

Hmm... That's a very uncommon question but I like it.
I guess, I will see myself as a baby and ask these questions to my parent:

Hey! Dad, Mom! Can you sing me a song?
Hey Dad why are you arguing with Mom on who I really look like?
What are those things flying above me?
No..... Mom! Why are you playing with my food before you feed it to me?
Yuck! I poop! Can some one help me clean it? Uwaahhh!!!

    :D

I always feel being a baby and if I am really a baby, I think I would be asking questions like:

    Why am I too small?
Why do people are acting weird when they talk to me?
Can I go out all by myself?
Can I eat anything that I want?
Why do I have such tiny fingers?

Pretty simple, small kids want to be big and when someone treats them like a baby they resent it. :)

Can I go to your work instead of going to school? (haha, mine ask this)

What you are you saying? I only listen to sounds! :D

If a baby could post maybe they'd ask why does mummy seem not to understand me at times until I cry. Another would be why won't mummy allow to be free to play about and with anything I find around.

I think they would ask where can I meet Spidey? How does Superman actually fly without wings? ( for a 4-5 year old may be).

Why on earth some of us are too small while others (grownups) are too big? How can we reach up to them?

Where is god, why god is not coming in front of me? I can see my mom, dad but don't know where this God is hiding!

Babies are naturally inquisitive and point to everything they want to know the name of or understand. I think their questions are 'what is that?' and 'why?'.

LOL @janemarie, you are quite right, "what is that" is on the top when they start verbalizing.

@firstcry good thinking up there, I'd love to know those questions myself! :D

"I wonder when I will be able to fly like a bird?" :)

Another thing they probably will ask if babies could talk:
Why am I so small and you all are so big. When and how will become as big as you.

Love these. Here's a new one:

"I'm not sure if I should go to sleep, or cry about being tired.

My first question which these kids would be asking if they're given the chance to do so is "why Dad is always hugging and kissing Mom?" Second would be: "why Daddy is always going home late at night?". And third one is "why Mom is crying?", "Is she a baby like me?"

Why is mom crying? Yeah, some moms do cry a lot @Nocturnal Writer. :)

Considering the fact that vegetables are seen as the enemies of food (not tasty enemies by the way)... I think they would certainly ask the reasons why they are "forced" to eat vegetables every single day. They seem to "suffer" a lot whenever the time comes to eat vegetables (it's kinda funny to watch them while they eat).

The common question that I hear from very young children are when will I be as big as mommy?

    Why can't I wear mom's dress?

Why can't I eat what others are eating? (Toothless baby)

Haha. ''Maybe I should let my parents sleep. Maybe I should stay quiet so they can rest because they look very tired and they worked all day. Maybe I should sleep.'' ''Pfft. I crack myself up. Let's wake them up with a scream.'' This is somehow reminding me of Stewie Griffin. I can see him doing this.
