When we were a toddler, the slippers that we wore have a garter to support the back of our feet so that the slipper will not get loose. Now I see that parents make the toddlers wear sneakers instead of slippers. That makes the feet cleaner, the parent said. Maybe I have to agree to that.
Well, I would have to agree with that that toddlers would be better off wearing sneakers, rubber shoes, or any closed footwear rather than open-toed ones, to prevent dust from entering it's feet while walking or playing.
What can you say about the toddlers here that are barefoot? They are playing in the street everyday so I see them and sometimes some even have no pants. But wonder of wonders, those toddlers do not get sick since I would know that. It's like saying that poor families cannot afford shoes so they go barefoot and strengthen the immunity with the dirt.
