I really cannot say how but it is imperative for parents to teach their toddler on the proper behavior outside the home. I can see some unruly toddlers that when parents would restrain, the toddler would cry out loud as if it was a defense. When that happens the parents would be helpless.
Not black kids, I can assure you that. Try throwing a tantrum in front of a black parent and see what happens. But I guess it is a result of the new age thinking, where you are not supposed to whoop your kid lest you end up in jail.
Consistency is key when it comes to your child. It doesn't really matter what your dealing with. It might be doing homework, eating or even bath times. If you have established a routine, then as a parent, you need to stick to it. That includes disciplining your child too.
My parents never really lacked the will or way to discipline us even when we were young. They never disciplined us when we were in public, but once inside our home, you can bet that they will discipline us "all the way".
Yap, that sounds like my mom. She would just maintain her cool until we got in the house and then she would suddenly turn into a completely different person.
