I have seen some parents having difficulty in weaning their kids from the milk bottle. The milk in the glass is better than the milk bottle because there is a psychological effect that the toddler becomes dependent on the bottle. Another issue is the health of the teeth is compromised. So how do you wean a child from the milk bottle?
If the child sees another child of his age off the bottle may be that will encourage him to do likewise. Praising the toddler that eats off a plate in front of this child could also perhaps help.
I think there is a set time for the child to be dependent on the milk of the mom or those that are available commercially, so the parents shouldn't worry about the weaning of the child from the milk.
